Lithuanian and Polish Heritage Protection Specialists Meet in Toruń

In October Cultural heritage experts and specialists from Lithuania and Poland met in the UNESCO World Heritage city of Toruń to compare their cultural heritage protection systems.

The discussions focused on crucial issues related to the restoration and urban planning of historic city centers, providing a platform for the specialists to exchange national experiences and best practices. Furthermore, the participants outlined plans for future collaboration, including upcoming meetings and workshops focusing on cultural heritage preservation, restoration, and communication.

The event was organized by the Polish National Institute of Polish Cultural Heritage Abroad "Polonika" and the Department of Cultural Heritage under the Ministry of Culture of Lithuania.
