European Heritage Heads Forum

European Heritage Heads Forum (EHHF) is an informal organisation bringing together leaders of cultural heritage from the European countries - directors of departments for the protection of cultural heritage, or similar institutions, as well as experts whose aim is to exchange relevant information and good practice, and to cooperate with the European Commission and other international organisations for the protection of cultural heritage, seeking to represent the interests of cultural heritage at an European level.  Since 2006, the EHHF has been organising annual Cultural Heritage Heads Forums where information between the countries is exchanged and topical issues about cultural heritage policy are discussed.

European Heads Legal Forum (EHLF) is an informal organisation made up of the representatives delegated by national cultural heritage organisations in the European countries. Their task is to monitor the impact of EU legislation on cultural heritage in the European countries, to timely inform national administrations about the potential threats to cultural heritage from pending legislation, and to actively cooperate with the European Commission, governmental and non-governmental organisations for the protection of cultural heritage, in order to protect the interests of cultural heritage in the European countries. At the present time, as many as 29 countries take part in the activities of EHLF. Lithuania has been participating in the activities of EHLF since 2011.
